Marine-derived chondroitin sulfate

Unlike most chondroitin supplements, Joint Support Formula contains chondroitin of marine origin. One study (3) showed that marine chondroitin contained far fewer soluble proteins and nucleic acids (part of the so-called "impurities") than chondroitin of bovine, porcine or fry (chicken) origin.

Marine glucosamine sulfate 

Glucosamine is an amino-monosaccharide synthesized endogenously in humans and animals from glucose and glutamine. With age, however, this mechanism often becomes less efficient. In Joint Support Formula, glucosamine is obtained naturally by extracting chitin from marine invertebrates (shrimp, lobster, crab shells, etc.).
